Mode of Action:

Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (usually referred to by its abbreviation, 2, 4-D) is a carboxylic common, systemic herbicide. 2,4-D is a synthetic auxin (plant hormone), It is used as a herbicide for the control of broad-leaf weeds in agriculture, and for control of woody plants along roadsides, railways, and utilities rights of way. MCPA is used to control a wide range of broadleaf weeds. It is used for weed control around a variety of agricultural crops such as alfalfa, barley, clover, flax, lespedeza, oats, grass, peas, rice, rye, sorghum, trefoil, triticale, and wheat. It is also used on sod farm turf, golf courses, public walkways, pastures, and rangeland.
