Mode of Action:
Fenoxaprop-ethyl is a aryloxyphenoxypropionate herbicide which is selective against perennial and annual grass weeds in many crops. used for post-emergence control of annual grass weeds, from the two-leaf stage up to full tillering, in spring and winter wheat, spring and winter barley, rice, turf and various broadleaf crops.

Acute oral LD 50 for rats =3150-4000 mg/kg
Biochemistry:
Fatty acid synthesis inhibition in grasses, by inhibition of acetyl CoA carboxylase (ACCase). Rapidly hydrolyzed in plants to acid which is still herbicidal active.
