Mode of Action:
Diclofop-methyl is a selective post-emergence herbicide. It is a member of the aryloxphenoxy propionate group of herbicides for control of wild oats and annual grassy weeds found among brassicas, carrots, celery, field beans, French beans, broad beans, barley, wheat, parsnips, peas, potatoes, soy beans, oilseed rape, onions, sugar beet, and lettuce.

Acute oral LD50 for rats: 481 – 693 mg/kg
Biochemistry:
Fatty acid synthesis inhibitor, by inhibition of acetyl CoA carboxylase (ACCase). Destroys the cell membrane, prevents the translocation of assimilates to the roots, reduces the chlorophyll content, and inhibits photosynthesis and meristem activity.
